im not saying cannavaro is an average defender , im just saying that in his age ( 34) i dont see him offering so much anymore . i doubt he still has the energy and the drive to carry juve back to the top .
Milito plays for an average club and is definetely hungry to prove himself and still wants to do something big in his carreer .
I think cannavaro is still one of the best defenders in the world , my only doubt about him is his willingness to take a gamble and lead a newly built juventus side that realistically can't compete for the scudetto

I copletely agree with you on that...Milito is obviously the better choice. But if we happen to lose the race to Real we need a defender for this year to compete and then we can upgrade again next year. We need a leader and dominate cb this year. Canna could last some more years like Maldini but we are in no place to make gambles right now.
