Suspended..injured...yes he was not the usual Zidane...I respect Zidane...
Nevertheless the French managed to go scoreless....that is magic even Houdini could not pull off.
specially amazing that they couldn't score despite having the leading (or second leading) scorers from Serie A (Trez), the EPL (Henry), And Cisse (Championat).

Its like a train wreck. You know you shouldn't look, but you simply can't resist.

There's beauty in the Anarchy, believe me. :D

Yeap... since that korean-france exhibition game..everything went wrong for them

That WC wa sa joke... i still remember zidane, walking with his head down at the endof the 3rd game.

what a a crap.

"Suspended..injured...yes he was not the usual Zidane...I respect Zidane...

incredibly true

"specially amazing that they couldn't score despite having the leading (or second leading) scorers from Serie A (Trez), the EPL (Henry), And Cisse (Championat)."

Before the WC.... i just couldnt believe that attacking force... but well...that shit happens once every 100 years.

hope this Eurocup will be totally differemt.

Fred Weasley: Santini has been fielding 2 DM's (Vieira + either one of Makalele, Dacourt and Pedretti) throughout the friendlies. Mexès is not always called up let alone starts game. If unjury free, Desailly partners Gallas in the center. And you're right, Lizarazu always gets the nod despite his failling form of late.

IncuboRossonero: What's your point?

Graham: Frey won't be among the 23 flying to Portugal, 100% sure!

Hydde: If anything, there's a vague resemblance with Real Madrid, which doesn't exactly qualify as 'cool' ;)

Erik: Alright!... Could it be le Mont des Arts (Kunstberg) then? :)
yeah but that doesnt mean he'll play the same way in the EC.
as for dessailly i dont think Santini would give him first place now.he rarely plays for his club.

Ahh I remember that, and I was thinking the same thing.

I remember hearing about Desailly saying that his family were not setting off to Japan until the group stages were out of the way

that's a brave bet to make Egyptian. A team like France, with the top scorers in three leagues, scoring no goals and crashing out of the first round is one in a million

Hopefully they won't win...
But I think they have to be one of the favourites if not the favourites :(

He was injured fro the first two game, and played the last one under the influence fo a lot of painkillers. No one can produce under those conditions.
