Roverbboy,
I still think ranking is pile of trash.;). The no. of matches played by clubs in each country is different. And just as importantly, does a win in Asian competetion merit same point with European ones or should we have same level of point for each league?

Anyway, it is in my knowledge that Italia is ahead of England in UEFA rankings after Spanish league. Why don't they just use UEFA, officialy approved point system, instead of making up their own and in truth the results have so many annomalies, it is not worth even considering about it.

Don't worry Jun-hide, every time I post these tables they are ridiculed and condemed:fero: but I will continue to post just to get the reaction.

    hehe:angel:

No matter what way these rankings are made up it's obvious that they'll never please all the people all the time:D

Also the Uefa ranking only cover their comps such as the CL, Uefa Cup and European NT Championship, not World Club Championship or World Cup. You couldn't have world rankings without including performance in these comps.

I'm sure however that most members would have no problem with the top ten Club and/or country rankings as they seem quite reasonable....or am I wrong people?

I think the top three teams in Greece could give the top three teams from almost any country a real good run for their money

As for the Germans I would have the BL in the top four no problem.

Do you rate the Brazilian and Argentinian Leagues so highly Erik?
That's surprising considering how many of their top stars play in Europe.

Just imagine how good they would be if the top men still played at home

I prefer Argentinian leauge compared to Brazilian. Anyone who watches Brazilian league match would realize it is anything but "Juego Bonito". The fouling and crowding out midfield would put Italian teams to shame, for many reasons.;).

Germany, they did even have a league?;).

    I haven't seen a single German league match so I can't comment.:).

However, Argentine leauge is very high quality even if South-American goalkeepers are anything but certain.;)

Thank you yes! German teams on the other hand (except Bayern München) have all been beaten in recent clashes with Dutch teams, now that says it all, doesn't it?
