so not to confuse anyone-

Wenger will NOT join Juve....he has much more control at Arsenal than he'd ever have at Juventus

so I should put a Ranieri avatar?

Some people already have Lippi and Mourinho so i wanted to be different but I didn't want to be the one with Claudio or Vialli.

Lampard has priced himself out of a move to Juventus after demanding £140,000 a week from the Serie A club. (Daily Express)

what i would give for that kind of money.

that is a bit crazy. That would make him the highest paid player in the world?

I think Chelsea pay Sheva 120

Would the club be willing to do that to attract a star i wonder. it might alienate some of our other stars unless we give them that kind of money too.

Money aside i would like to see us sign him. Things in England seem to be going stale for him (booed against Brazil and trashed in the media after the world cup) so many he could sort of get away and start over here. I must admit he plays poorly when forced to play deep in the midfield but I think he he would be expected to be just outside the box where he is lethal

im not willing to pay him more than 70-80k per week let alone 140k
who does he think he is?the best footballer on the world?
far from it
agreed but he will not take a pay cut to join. that is the problem with big name players. so unless our mangement pay way too much for him we will not be signing him

to compare i wonder how much Almiron would ask for a week?

almiron ll probably get 50k?i would rather spent big on other players like diego and xavi alsonso than lampard
also if we get sissoko i dont think his wages are gonna be that high,70k max

If we get sissoko lampard would be ideal partner to him in the midfield. With sissoko handling all the defensive needs lampard would be free to roam the field in an offensive role which he accells at but only if we get someone like sissoko.

I didn`t want him to play for us in the first place! I just can`t see an English player who could be successful in Italy, and Lampard is not that magical player to think that he could be different

I know it's a risky move as not too many english players have done well in italy but we need someone creative in the midfield. and i would only want lampard if he is paired with a real defensive force in the middle like a sissoko as i don't think a mdfield of lampard zanetti/marchiso might work. But that said lampard is not my frist choice that would be ribery i think he is the next great in the making.

If you were looking for someone creative in the midfield, Lampard is not the answer.. I don`t think that he could play that role. all he can do is cut the ball and shoot it on the target whether the ball ended up inside the net or not. also, the English football is different than the Italian. what we need is someone like Ribery (as you mentioned) or Diego
