With all the stuff about Lampard not renewing his contract and Mourinho saying he wouldn't stop them moving abroad I'm starting to think this deal might, just maybe, be possible to do.

Its still a long shot though.

But the papers are linking him less a lot less than Gerrard mate..

I believe there is a better chance of Lampard leaving Chelski than Gerrard leaving the dirty scousers.

And just to be picky Charles and Rush were Welsh not English. And I beleive Brady was Irish.

Doubt he will join us:

Frank Lampard has reiterated his desire to remain at Chelsea although he has admitted that he is frustrated with the lack of progress over new contract talks.

The England international has recently been linked with a summer move away from Stamford Bridge, but insists he has no reason to leave the Blues.

"I want to stay at Chelsea," he told The Sun.

"I have never wanted to leave the club and I don't intend to. I have everything I want in life where I am right now.

"For the past six years my life has been my family and Chelsea football club. Some players can say that and it sounds cliched or fake.

"I can say it because it is absolutely true. I am very proud I play for Chelsea and of what I have achieved as part of the team.

"However, Chelsea have actually yet to make a proper offer on a new deal.

"I am not worried about the situation, but it's frustrating when everyone else is talking about my future.

"But I have two years left on my contract and I want to stay and sign a new one."

It can yes, but I doubt we will be able to match an offer coming from other clubs for him, and I really think that, if Juve can get him, other big clubs (real, barca) can also get him so then our offer won't match the others, I can't see that happening.

Well, they have no connection with Juve so then it is logical they will go for the best deal.
You and me would probably choose Juve, but for Lampard, money matters also
