I also read (http://www.juventus-fr.com/actualite.php) that they're in London to discuss with smaller clubs like Boro, Bolton and Portsmouth for selling Miccoli, Kovac and Zalayeta.

Mourinho wants 'captains' to stay

Jose Mourinho yesterday spoke forcefully of his hope that Frank Lampard and John Terry will remain at Chelsea - yet declined to give any guarantees about his own future and did not answer questions about his relationship with the club's owner, Roman Abramovich.
Lampard and Terry have so far failed to reach agreements on extending their contracts but Mourinho admitted he had spoken to his "captains" about this.

"If a player has another dream, wants to play in another country, wants to play in another club, that is something I cannot interfere with," he said. "My opinion is they belong to Chelsea; they belong to Chelsea history. So when people have such strong links, feelings and success together, I think there is no reason for a change. I would love to see them both part of Chelsea history until the end."

The reason they gave for this encounter is that Lampard's agent knows some people at Juve(we wanted Paul Ince before he went to Inter) and that we wanted to meet some English club managers/GM to get familiar with them. They also said they were there to SELL. Zebina to Tottenham? Buffon to Chelsea?...

Buffon to Chelsea only if Cech is heading the other way

Lampard's wages are quite high, maybe too high for juves budget. but then again, Gerrard would be asking for something similar would he not?

either would be great, although i like the fact that Lampard scores a lot more goals as the attacking midfielder. i think club needs a player like him in central midfield.

In addition, with the money we would spend on lampard, or gerrard, we could get diego and a few other midfielders and complete the midfield.

Lampards wages are high but we would only need to pay chelsea 8 million pounds, it has something to do with fifa rules. So athough his wages are very high we would be getting him for a great price.
