It's amazing that Barcelona have so much riches and still can't get into the top 5 in La Liga. When you look at a lineup and see players like Riquelme,Mendieta,Saviola and Dani on the bench then you really have to ask yourself why they struggle so badly.

P.S Why does Benitez play Vicente so seldomly? I think we should buy him.

I think it's the coach they have ... players don't listen to him at all. When he was talking with Saviola yesterday, before he sent him in the game, the Argentinian hardly paid any attention and the assistant had to like squeeze his arm a little in way hey-man-listen-to-the-coach. Did I mention that he sends on the picth the wrong guys? :D

Barça actually played pretty well in the 2nd hald, at least in the beginning. They had many chances to score, but nothing went in. Or Kluivert made a wrong pass in the PK box! And what an opportunity they had when Canizares had to be subbed and Baraja went out, Valencia playing only with 10 men for 1.5 halfs :wallbang:

If things go on like this, we won't see Barça in any european competition next year :undecide: CL IMO is already out of reach, but maybe Uefa Cup is still in the game. A shame for such a great club!

Anyother coach will do better than Van Gaal. It's not only that he's sucking at his job, the crowd really really doesn't like him ... and they are the ones who bring in the money (well almost) so the officials will have to do something soon.
