Me too .. It would be great if Sociedad pulled it off .. but I really don't have any preferences there in La Liga .. I believe Sociedad will eventually drop points and surrender the lead .. I also have a feeling Real will win it this year !!

REAL SOCIEDAD will win the league this year, because Sander Westerveld is playing better than any three players in la Liga put together.

Jose Francisco Molina is set to begin training with Deportivo La Coruna after beating cancer for the second time.

The 32-year-old Spanish international goalkeeper has made a speedy recovery after being diagnosed with testicular cancer again last October.

He was operated on for a benign cancer back in June, 2001 and Molina returned to first team action with the Galicians.

But doctors discovered the cancer had returned at the end of last year and he travelled to Valencia for treatment.

Depor were told that his recovery would take around six months, but Molina has been given the all clear to begin training again after three months.

He will be back on January 20 and coach Javier Irureta is delighted.

"It is very important for everyone at the club to have him back," beamed the Depor trainer.

"Especially for the players who he knows so well. Seeing him back around the place will give everyone an enormous lift."

. Real Sociedad came from two goals down at the Mestella to force a 2-2 draw with Valencia and stay top of La Liga.

Valencia were the vastly superior team in the first-half, and went ahead on 17 minutes when Curro Torres' powerful cross from the right was superbly headed home into the bottom right corner by Fabio Aurelio.

A few minutes later Ruben Baraja had an opening to extend the lead, but hesitated.

Sociedad were giving the ball away all too easily and went in a goal down.

On the hour they found themselves two down after the most strange of own-goals from Agustin Aranzabal. The veteran defender presumably failed to look up when passing back to goalkeeper Sander Westerveld who wasn't on his line, and unable to stop the ball rolling into an empty net.

However, eight minutes later, and after looking dead and buried, Sociedad were back in it when Darko Kovacevic chested the ball down in the area after good work from Nihat and belted the ball low past the previously under worked Andres Palop.

With a quarter of an hour remaining, the Yugoslav found himself onside and clean through, but saw his shot blocked by Palop. Following the resulting corner Nihat blasted over, after Valencia claimed a foul on the keeper.

Nihat then tested Palop with a long-range effort, and with the Ches looking nervous, the Turk equalised moments later when he found himself unmarked on the right and fired a super effort past Palop.

Carew almost immediately had a goal controversially disallowed for pulling, but Valencia could make no more clear opportunities and had to settle for the point.
