Just remembered that ESPN dumped Serie A in favor of La Liga for next season and now Messi is leaving.
Don't remind me. I still need to register for Paramount+ before the first match.

Another subscription, goddamnit.

I canceled ESPN. Their fee is almost the same, and Paramount carries CL too.

Yeah, I would do the same but I got the discounted package of Disney+, ESPN+ and Hulu and I share it with my five brothers so it really costs me nothing.

Guess I'll use it for Bundesliga and MLS.

El Clasico became useless enough after Ronaldo left, but now that Messi's gone its going to have as much hype as the Rome derby . Imagine going from Messi/Ronaldo, Ramos/Puyol, Mourinho/Guardiola to Fati/Vinicius, and who ever else is at these clubs.

La Liga viewership is going to sink worse than WWE after The Rock and Stone Cold left lmao.

So apparently Aguero and Depay aren’t registered either and cant play unless Barca significanty reduce their wage bill, which i assume is unlikely to happen unless they sell some big names, no?

Ive seen a few stories here and there about Griezmann and Atletico, but no huge news about any transfers out of Barca.

It's a circus. But when you see their wages you kinda understand it too. Even a 17yo kid has like 7mln/season :lol2:

If Ancelotti manages to win the title this season, that would make him the first manager to win a league title in all of Europe's top 4 (5) leagues.

Bundesliga with Bayern (2017)
Serie A with Milan (2004)
Premier League with Chelsea (2010)
Ligue 1 with PSG (2013)

And now all that's left is La Liga. Its quite ironic when you take into account the fact that Ancelotti is known for being a continental expert but underwhelming at sustaining a league push. And that reputation has a basis considering the four titles which I listed above are his only ever league titles.

But anyways he is a legendary coach and this would be another historic achievement added to his legacy.
