Has Koeman had a good season as a coach since he left PSV more than a decade ago? I always thought of him as a post-Liverpool Benitez, loved by midtable clubs because he brings watchable footie, but not really a top team coach, because he's more likely to be a catastrophe than anything close to success.

I will be shocked if he’s able to turn things around. That team is done.
Funny how by far the best managed club turns into by far the worst managed in a short time and it's all literally decided by inches.
One single goal at Anfield and it'd be an entirely different atmosphere and vibe around the club.

I know but they were so winning CL last year... crazy when you think about it.
Perhaps, but lots of teams have collapsed a year or two after winning the CL. Milan in 2007, Inter in 2010, Man United who reached 3 finals between 2008-11 and collapsed in 2013. Even Real in 2018 had to go a complete rebuild and are still way behind what they used to be.

Oh boy, I got to admit watching Barcelona looking for that infamous ''Barca DNA'' in coaches is kinda fun. Especially that experiment with Tata Martino, it's like the only big club who would go for Newell's Old Boys manager.

Nevertheless, if Koeman is ready to resign from national team post - and that isn't very professional at this time in my opinion - that's not a worst choice.

Also, is Laurent Blanc ever gonna take any job, he was fired back in 2016.

Barca have to be one of the most retarted clubs out there. They bought Coutinho and Griezmann for a combined 265mln and both failed. With Demble at least they have an excuse, can't predict injuries. But spending all that money and loaning them out is :sergio:

I always remember George Graham who was the Arsenal manager before he got sacked for taking a bung. His last job was in 2001, but up until recent years he'd get mentioned for every job going.
