Yeah. You'll keep arguing because it's bullshit. Football is considerably faster paced and tougher than it ever has been. Ronaldo AND Messi would be even more unstoppable in the 90's.

The reason you like it less is because it's like tennis, once it's too fast it becomes less interesting. Good football is becoming boring football.

But make no mistake, this Juve would beat 1998 Juve with a 5 goal margin.

Players today are just a lot better than players 20 years ago. And that makes total sense. Everything in the game evolves to a higher standard.

They have more stamina, pace, and follow stricter diets, but in terms of finesse, beauty, elegance, creativity, and talent, there were better players 20 years ago. Zidane, Baggio, Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, Del Piero, etc... Currently, we only have guys like Neymar, Messi, and Ronaldo to provide that spark, that moment of magic.
