La Juve vuole Marchionni
20 12 2005
-------------------------

it says that jvue want to take Marchionni for free at the end of the season. Moggi had allready talks with his agent

I don´t konw very much about him. Somehow I don´t feel that he is good, I would rather bring gasbaronni back.

I used to rate him highly, but he'd be nothing more or less than a 2nd string playing maybe 1-2 times a month.

That said, he is pretty good for that role, but we are in trouble if he is to be relied on heavily.

Marchionni? On a free? Definately.
Excellent winger, maybe a bit inconsistent, but a good winger nonetheless. He'd be a great backup for Camoranesi, as well as being a contender for the left-wing spot next season. He might even take over Camoranesi's spot in a latter stage of Camo's carreer.
Also looking at the limited foreigners rule, that might be introduced, Marchionni would be a good Italian to have. I'm not sure about the following, but I think I read somewhere that Marco Marchionni is a juve-fan as well.

Though I feel that Marchionni would probably be used as makeweight for a future, more expensive transfer.

Anyway on a free, he is certainly a player to go for.

Marchionni? I am really saddened by the guy's predicament. :frown: I think he has the capacity to do great things, but he's knee-deep in such mountains of merde over at Parma these days. When he had some competent teammates, he was really something to watch. But now...

I really should hold up a sign that says, "Free Marchionni". Both for Moggi and his transfer fee and for busting him out of Parma like it was Attica.

It would be great to have him... does anybody here feels a litle worry that Moggi is talking to players that are still under contract? I mean look what happend with Roma, and I know its diferent becouse we are talking about Moggi, but still, it worrys me a litle

I'm not worried. I think he's too smart for that.

I think Moggi is up to his usual smoke screen to keep people guessing where he plans to pull strings next.

This isnt like what Roma did.

They signed a player who was under contract for a minumum release fee that the courts ruled wasnt in his contract.

I didnt mean that it was the same case, what I meant is that, and please correct me if Im wrong, we cant talk to any player who is still under contract with a club.

Now what swag said its true, I know that Moggi is not as stupid as Roma, but what worrys me is that we have been link to many players who are under contract and end their contract in June... Im just a litle concern thats all
