And yes, I know he will get to play in the middle and possibly rotate with Evra and if we switch to 3-5-2, but it's still sad.

but i can see him fighting for the LB spot and even if evra becomes the starting LB, asamoah will get tons of playing time.
on the bright side: if evra really manages to bench asamoah, signing him seems to be a great deal.

I actually think Asamoah won't be even taken as a consideration for LB spot.

I believe he'll rotate with Vidal, Pogba and even Pirlo. He will also be ready to cover left side, but only if we switch to 3-5-2, but IMO we're not going to see him as a left back.

I think we're gonna use Ogbonna as a LB rotation. Of course, in case we keep him.
