Its great to see midfielders making a run past the striker as it creates so much space. Vidal does it effectively and Pereyra tried it a few times against Udinese.

Didnt like his performance in the first half, he was a bit all over the place and his shooting was horrendous.

Got better in the second half, and that was a wonderful little assist for Tevez. Well done Asa.

He does things though, I mean he has a variety of tools to show in the middle unlike the flank. He shoots, he passes, he transports the ball. On the flank his job is limited and it gets even more limited when we are pinned back.

He was obviously eager to impress with his audition at CM. Lots of shots, a couple ill-advised. A couple that I could understand. His assist was absolutely vital though and came because of his willingness to keep running and inject himself into the game.

I agree, but he was pretty poor today, only thing he did right was almost that run and attack, couple of times he made a decent attempt at the box, but in general his passing and shooting was subpar today, clearly very unfamiliar with how to play CM, his natural position, been too long. Plus had too much offensive responsibility for his qualities.

I thought he played too wide out. Him and Evra at points in the game were playing the same position.

It has been awhile for Asamoah, but he did show some promise.

Overall he had a good game, could of scored today as well.

Might have been a better idea to start Pereyra against such a defensive side in the 352 considering the abscent players.

Apart from the assist, his game was poor considering the standards he set on the lwb
