His driblings can sometimes be annoying and many times he's predictable. But it's hard to argue his contribution. He has 3 goals and 4 assists so far, after 1/3 of the season. Unlikely that he'll keep the same tempo, but if he does, that's 9 goals and 12 assists from a fullback in the course of a season. It's hard to ask more than that. And he's not even a fullback. Just a regular CM placed on the left side and asked to cover it. And on top of it, he's far from being a liability in defense. I'm struggling to think of a left sided fullback that we stand a realistic chance to buy, and who's gonna offer more to Juve than what Asamoah is offering.
And I think he's profiting from Isla's presence in the team.
