I don't understand his stubborn insistence on getting to the touch line to cross. It's clear we're absolutely out of ideas when he receives the ball anywhere on the left. There's only Matuidi near him who can't do anything with the ball, and Mario is drifting central.

Just smash it into the box the first time you get space, even if it's well away from the touch line. The amount of times he loses the ball for a throw or gets it blocked because he tries to get all the way to the line to cross is so mind numbing.
