Manolas is a gamble I wouldn't take. Papastathopoulos on the other hand , is a GREAT defender. I would say , that at this moment, Papastathopoulos is able to hold a starting place for almost every team in the world. Moreover, for the 10-15 top clubs worldwide , I'll stretch it and I'll say that he could easily fit in all of them, as a first sub choice.
We must see a lot of potential in him otherwise we wouldn't be spending well over 10M on a CB who's probably not going to start for us when Barzagli and Chiellini are back.
