Let's trust the management people. They know best. After all, they did bring in Llorente, Vidal, Pogba, Pirlo, and Tevez. The latter two were relative unknowns, blossoming talents when we purchased them.

They also recalled Giovinco from his loan spell for a hefty fee, signed Ogbby who wasn't really needed, yet that was tempered by the acquisition of such champions like Elia, Martinez, and lest we forget Motta.

This guy was close to coming to Everton about 18 months ago, Moyes failed to convince him to move to us....
Similar to Mustaphi in the end.

Again. Very few failed transfers after that first summer. But let's continue and dig up some cows that were buried four years ago. It is very relevant here!

Of course it is relevant. We have made at least one bad trade every summer, if my memory serves me right. I am not against trusting the management, but to trust them blindly is foolish and delusional. What is the point of fucking discussions then? Might as well say, oh yes, great job. I can't wait to see him play. The management did well. Don't you realize how ridiculous that would be?

Transfers in a summer with no preparation time, a club in shambbles and no CL football are not relevant. If you believe so, well whatever suits your mind.
It's quite ridiculous to be criticizing management over players you haven't seen in action. There's nobody here that's saying this guy is THE transfer we need. But the opposite is just as ridiculous, pal.

Only one bad transfer per year is outstanding by the way. Can't nail them all, many influencing factors in where and when a player performs. But that's too much sense probably.

Too many excuses. I am going to have to put you with the apologists and sympathizers aka "The Excuses Brigade.: :p

In all honesty, I am sure no one would complain that much if we got this guy for 5 million, but for the rumored figures, and considering he is playing for a team that barely has any competition and destroys their league every year, this could turn out to be a costly mistake.

Haha, all facts ;).

Well the figure is indeed quite steep, but the arguement remains no one (except maybe the Greek members) actually knows the guy. For all we know he is the next Cannavaro... Fabio that is :p

Arsenal wouldn't be interested in some random c*nt with all their money, would they?

:klin: I am not sure. Their list of defenders is far from impressive, and they have bought their fair share of duds over the years :D
