Well if my life depended on making the choice I have at least two players over Trez. But I don't think that any of them are available for us. Besides they are projects, and what we need now is immidiate impact. I'm not sure if even Hunter would be as immidiate an impact as Trez can be should he find his usual self.
You use the right words, as Trez could if he finds his usual self. I think Hunter will do quite well immediately.
Who do you want instead?

Well, I think Hunter would be a great addition but I also like Kanouté very much after watching him a couple of games this season. He is so versatile. He can play supporting striker, target man, and he is deadly in front of goal.

I'm a bit torn between Hunter and him as I think he could be more of an immediate impact. However, Hunter is propably a pretty solid long term solution.

I would like Juventus to make a move for Renato Augusto of Flamengo. He's young and he is the type of player you could build a team around. He has drawn similarities to Kakà and is a huge talent. Not a striker, though.

I dunno about Kanoute, this is his first polific season so far and he is in Trez's age.

What i've seen of Renato Augusto ha simpressed me, but isn't he more the type of player that could play in Nedved's position when he retires? Behind the strikers?

Well yes, in Flamengo he plays as a trequartista. But IMO he's got a tremendous potential and a huge upside because he is still so young. I think he is the real deal.

As you say about Kanouté he is the same age as Trez but he seems to be so hungry for succes and would propably overachieveif given the chan ce. However, Hunter seems as a reasonable long term solution, and if bought he could propably garantee around 20 goals a season - at the very least. He's a beast in the box.

So we agree :D Huntelaar upfront and Renato Augusto playing around him, providing for Hunter and profiting of his ability to hold the ball.

That's no problem considering the fact Nedved will play for one more year and Alex one or two i think. He wil be right on time.
He will be huge in Serie A. Let's hope he doesn't join the main-SQUM-stream. That would be a disaster.

If he joins Juventus I think I will be willing to fly to Torino and greet him myself.

Well, I'll be thrilled with only Huntelaar coming, but I think this is gonna be another dissapointing summer.
Well, this would be the perfect time for Secco to prove that he is not an untalented, worthless twid.

I'm still living on that glimmer of hope that they have something arranged and that, before we know it, we will have a team filled with excellent players.

Although they are not doing very much to prove me right.

But don't worry. Next summer I'll apply for Secco's job :D

To prove you are not an untalented, worthless twid, you actually have to be none.
I'll lobby for your appointment.
