I hate how you guys overreact.

1. Trezeguet is better than Huntelaar
2. Trezeguet is already here
3. Man U, Barca and others also want Huntelaar, and he could stay at Ajax

Extending Trezeguet's contract makes more sense than trying to sign Huntelaar and it'll probably be easier too.

I'm ok with his decision so long as he manages to keep Trez.

First of all I doubt that SQUM is going to sign Hunter after they just splashed the cash on Nani and Anderson. Second of all, I don't think Barcelona would buy a new class striker unless they get rid of Eto'o with Arsenal being a propable destination for him, with Arsenal sending Titi the other way. In that case Barcelona has a WC striker. I don't see Hunter going there.

Huntelaar is only needed if Trezeguet leaves. If Trez, who is better than that Dutch dude, stays at Juve then not getting Klaas isn't a big deal. People on here just like to take their frustrations out on our management.

Thats it.. READ this post all of you that are in love with The Hunter :D

Nah really.. I would like to see Huntelaar in Juve, BUT, if Secco can talk Trez in to a "stay here deal", then I wouldent say Secco did a bad jobl..

The thing with Trez is that he isn't the player he was from 3 seasons ago. And for him to state that he wouldnt mind moving abroad on several occasions means that he wants a new challenge.

When juve dominated in the mid to late 90s, we would shuffle our strikers around quite a lot. From vialli to Ravanelli, to boksic and vieri to inzaghi and kovacevic and trezeguet. But the core team had minimal changes in defence and midfield.

Now it seems the other way around, we have kept the same groups of forwards and shuffled the defence and midfield around.

anyway, i just think that we need some new blood in our group of forwards and it would be great to have a striker who doesnt only score goals, but also offers more. whether this is Huntelaar who knows..but it woudl be nice to have something different upfront.

Well Trez is one of mt favorites also, but Juve comes first to me. Professionally if there is a huge offer for Trez, then we should sell him and bring a young Talent, Huntleaar? ;)
We have transfer money, there is no need to CHANGE the players in all departments, we can work on strengthening them.

Really some people here mistake me for a Trezeguet-lover or whatever, I don't know why, the avatars or something, but it's always been Juventus 100% for me. I was a fan before Trezeguet and I'll be a fan after, lots of my "favourite" players left Juve like Ravanelli, ZZ, Davids, etc. yet I was still a fan.

Now, Stu has really said what needed to be said. People here just want too see some young blood and that's a fact, naturally they're taking it out on the board. Trez could be replaced by a younger striker in Huntelaar just like Trez done the same thing to Inzaghi so maybe that's the natural flow of things. I wanted to get Huntelaar as much as any of you, well maybe not as much as everyone but you know :p , but if he doesn't come it's really not that of a big deal. Trezeguet is better than Huntelaar, they're the same type of players, but Trezeguet is a prolific striker in Ligue 1, Serie A, CL, NT, Huntelaar still has some way to go. I don't care if he scores 75 goals for Ajax next season, assuming he stays, it's not gonna change anything. Not taking anything away from the Eredivise but that's how things are, they're a free scoring leauge.

Point is, we already got what we presumbly lost. Huntelaar can't offer anything more than Trezeguet can and that's how things are. If the deal went through, we got Hunter and sold Trez, we wouldn't be any stronger but actually a little weaker until Huntelaar adapts and that is if he adapts. The only downside of the deal would be we would miss out on a very hot prospect but so what? We lost out on so many during the years and we still won.

Now after all that Trez protecting bit, something else. I've said it a trillion times before, if Trezeguet doesn't want to renew it's a whole different story, than we must sell him and go on our separate ways. However he wants to renew but the board and him can't find an agreement because they wanna lower his wage, which is totally uncalled for. The man at the end of the day stayed in Serie B, also scored 14 goals for us and doesn't deserve such treatment, not from us and by that moron Domenech.

As for cashing in on him, I'm undecided on that one, leaning more towards the side not to sell as the offers that were coming from the press aren't too high. If we got a serious offer for like 25mil, which in normal circumstances he's worth IMO, I'd be ok in selling him and getting Hunter for 15. Selling him for the same money as we would spent on getting Hunter is not something I can approve of, sure Hunter is younger but he also carries a risk with him. If the money would be good I'd say sell, because if we don't sell him in the next year his price is gonna drop as he'll be 30, unless he scores 30 goals next season.

He had a rougher season this year but all things considered I think he ended up fairly well. If he stays next year I can see him scoring 20+ goals easy-peasy-japanesy. ;)
