Well look at it this way. Does switching teams hurt anyone? What if i stop supporting Arsenal and started supporting Barcelona, then in 3-4 years time when Real is dominant i'll switch to supporting Real Madrid, would you not say i was wrong in doing that? Would you not relentlessly bash me every chance you got? Would you not label me a gloryhunter, a fake fan or whatever other label you see fitting?

Nicks argument is the exact same thing.

It might not be completely rational, but there are some things we football fans have a non verbal semi agreement on.

erm im not too sure that italy were winning that much when i started supporting them in 98 when i was 9. Anything before that i wasnt aware of. But i get called that a lot because of the 2006 world cup. Even by people that i watched the entire tourny with when i was wearing an Azzurri top the whole way through.

I was in roma/napoli during the quarters and semis

I dont put effort into sp checks online, i type too fast and im using my laptop keyboard whilst im at home, i make loads of typo/sp errors.
