problem for coman is that we use a formation that only plays 2 traditional strikers. If we were playing something like 4-2-3-1 there could potentially have been 3 spots available for him to get some playing time. For Pogba, there were more spots on the field available for him which meant more rotation and playing time in case of injuries/rest.

Obviously only 18 so still young but I hope we try to develop him with us and not send him out on a risky loan.

I wonder if Allegri has told him once we get our Defenders back to fitness we can go to a back 4 formation. But that doesn't make sense because if anything calls for a back 4 its now with 2 CB's injured.

Even if we did, I don't believe we're going to play with 1 lone striker so the only other formation available out there is a 4-1-2-1-2/4-3-1-2. It all depends on how Allegri is as a coach, either he still want offense from fullbacks + Pogba/Vidal and uses somebody defensively sound Pereyra/Marchisio behind strikers or he's going to use a real creative offensive midfielder behind strikers which is where Coman could get some playing time.

Also, we had some hard games in a row so it is understandable that Allegri didn't use him much recently...Milan, Atletico & Roma consecutively

This.

And as long as Clalciomercato is the most reliable source of this rumour, I wouldn't be worried about our Kings developement.

I'd like to see him vs Sassuolo. After great first game I was hoping to see more of him in the forthcoming matches. Those 20 games that he was promised should be at least against these kind of opponents.
