You're quite the Kuyt fan, aren't you Jack? When you look at his technique, he's a rather average player at that level, but with his work rate he's pretty influential whenever he plays. Good player to have in your squad.

Bettega: “We’re not interested in Kuranyi. We seek for a younger striker"
Very good, now I feel more at ease.

Mark, seeing your avatar made me jump in excitement. Perhaps I'm a little to optimistic:shifty:

They'll start a new era. The beginning of a new great Juventus!!! :touched:
I love you Mark! You just made my day man, my optimism is sky high for the summer mercato

We won't make the Champions League.

Frank Ribery is not a great player. Far from it. Never proved himself in the big games consistently IMO. He's stil at Bayern because they want 60 mill for him when he'd be a risk at 30 mill.

Anyway, Kuranyi? Why are we linked with such dross these days. Bloody hell :(

He is not. He is a very good player, but the word great is used sparingly these days. He was unconvincing vs both Fiorentina and Manchester United in the Champions League. He tends to disappear in big games and is injury prone, so I am not really convinced he is that great or worth 60 million Euros.

No lol. He was marked out of the game against ManUtd by an inexperienced right back who then eventually got a harsh sending.

He hasn't done much at international tournaments, hasn't done much in European competition. Extremely overrated. 60 million would put him right up there with Zidane, Kaka, C.Ronaldo. He's quite clearly not in that company. He's no spring chicken now either

I'm not saying he's been worth it but he's proven himself to be a great player that's why his transfer fee was so high. Big reason why Milan won Champs League in 2007.

Yeah can't argue too much about his sending off by letter of law. It's harsh because not every ref would have done that. Especially as Van Bommel fouled then dived to get Rafael booked for first one. Ribery then pushes Rafael in the face waves his hand in a book him gesture and escapes all punishment. No consistency
