I'd take Amauri over Kuranyi any day.
i agree ... amauri at least possess theoretically the talent and technique to be great ...

kuranyi on the other hand has crap technique and does only look good for the second time in his carrer (after stuttgart).

kuranyi is worse technically, worse dribbler, worse header ... the only thing he has is probably a slight speed advantage

Kuranyi didn't decide anything yet.
And Amarui is definitely a bigger joke than Kuranyi.
He is. His overall ability makes him better than Amauri.
You must be tripping, even after this poor season Amauri is twice the player Kuranyi will ever be. On a side note I found this on football Italia:

Kuranyi snubs Juve
Wednesday 7 April, 2010
Juventus have apparently made Schalke striker Kevin Kuranyi an offer to move to Italy this summer, but it seems to have fallen short of his requirements.

The 28-year-old, who is currently joint top scorer in the Bundesliga, is out of contract at the end of this season and looks set to leave Gelsenkirchen.

German magazine Kicker understands Juventus have been in touch with Kuranyi's agent, making him a proposal that the player isn't inclined to take.

The former Germany international would like a four-year deal worth around €4m a year, something Juventus simply cannot afford at this moment in time.

Kuranyi has also been linked with Sunderland and Genoa, who were said to have arranged a pre-contract with him only last month.

After reading this I don't know whether to be happy that we didn't get a shit player or to cry that our once great team was snubbed by Kevin Kuranyi.

How could you possibly say that, Amauri is useless. He cant score, pass, hold the ball up, motivate, move, spread the play or defend. Kuranyi is a decent player, but at least he can score as he has proved in the Bundesliga this year therefore I would take him over Amauri any day.
There you go:

kuranyi is worse technically, worse dribbler, worse header ... the only thing he has is probably a slight speed advantage
And on a further note, Amauri did score a sum of 30 goals in Serie A(which has far more defensive approach to the game than the German one) in the last 2 seasons when he was playing with Palermo and Juventus, despite the many injuries.

you are talking about a guy (kevin) who never scored more than 15 goals a season in GERMANY...

look how many goals huntelaar already scored in serie a.... and he did have a way bigger goalcount in his native league

amauri can hold up the ball much better
