He either believed we have no chance anyway and preferred to rest key players and avoid injuries/suspensions in the next round or he really thought he instrumented the perfect plan where we bring in multiple fresh key players in the second half to turn the game around in our favor against a tired City side but miscalculated that they also had a strong bench despite already starting one of their strongest XI’s.
