Yes but it ultimately sells based on the player performances and media hype, fans usually don’t just buy it in batches because it’s the #10 without actually being convinced yet about the name they are adding on the shirt.

The frenzy in sells and marketing potential will likely start only after he puts in a string of top performances this season, which is what the board is probably betting on, but it is a bet nonetheless, one that could go either way for all we know, along with the risk of also crushing the morale and hype around the player by putting too much pressure and expectations on him too early on in his career.

Ultimately i think he really wants it himself, has what it takes to live up to the expectations but it is quite something to be promoted to #10 without even one senior season as a starter, management seems to be putting a lot of trust into him, hopefully for good reasons.
