Not signing either Keita or Schick, even though each of them could have been picked up easily for 30m, will come back to haunt us. In the future talents like that will cost much more, let alone if they become more than just top-talents.

we signed Berna and Costa, last summer Pjaca, there are only so many promising attackers you can fit into one team. I'm still puzzled why we stopped going for Tolisso though, he was tailor made for us
Yes, lol. People crying for Keita when we signed two wingers this summer and they still haven't featured, when we still have no sub for Dybala nor Alex Sandro. Also Strootman when we just signed Matuidi, or Schick when there's no way he'll start before Higuain, Dybala or Mandzukic.

Yep. Tolisso was the one we foolishly missed out on.

Thing about keita is that he would be a perfect SS sub for games where Higuain underperformes. he is full of pace and can score goals. Very good counter attacking player to have upfront.

No. He'll be another Elia here in terms of getting minutes. We have too many options upfront.

We got a worldclass frontline.

A player like Keita isnt going to influence that much.

We'd buy him if we can get a good price for him, so the sale price is profitable, or we had a great backup forward that costs little.

Do we "need" him ? Absolutely not.

I agree that we don't need him.

But I disagree that our frontline is world class. It can surely be better and yet 2 out of 4 our players upfront are yet to prove themselves to begin with.

Schick and Keita would surely improve our team, no doubt about that.

It's just that players won't find much space here in order to develop their potential fully.

If I were them, honestly, I'd also refuse to move here. It'd be smarter to go somewhere to show off your skill and eventually move to a bigger team as a guaranted starter. Mbappe rejected Real Madrid for that reason and I'd say he's a smart guy.

I don't get people wanting Keita here, the guy is clearly trouble and he's not even that good on the pitch, would be somewhere next to Pjaca in pecking order

Hopefully you're not implying that Keita or Schick would be starters here.

As for the player himself, I don't believe he will go to Monaco. Papers were already saying Balde refused their offer few weeks ago. He doesn't know the language and Monaco changed half a team so he can do better. Also, if their offer is 20mln and ours was rumoured to be 15 + bonuses Lotito is a damn idiot for ruining a relation with us and acting against the kid's will.

No. My point is that they wouldn't play here, or not as half as they would in Roma/Monaco.
