Sell Chiesa for anthing below 30m and buy this guy for 45m? Total shitshow. Come on, i get the whole disappointment in Chiesa but he is proper player and you know he'd do great with attacking_possesion minded coaches. Makes no sense

Chiesa gets injured just like any other player, but he has so much talent which i don't see in Adeyemi and all you need to do is look at the stats to figure out why.
I highly doubt about his stamina, he has never been that much consistent:

Listen, Chiesa is a good player, and I still have a soft spot for him, but I have to be honest that based on his last 3 years, he is by no means the player that many peorple think he is... he is not "the best italian player", and surely he is not the player he think he is that has to earn more that he earns now... but we are missing the main issue here and that is that for whatever reason, Motta dont think he can work in his system...

Now, is Adeyami better than Chiesa? I dont know... what I do know is that Motta believes that Adeyami works better than Chiesa in his system, so we have to trust on that, Juventus choose Motta and therefore has to trust and try to give him the players he believe are better to work for him...

Is that simple...

Well the coach that we choose to lead the team thinks he dont so... :boh:

Behind The Scenes - #Giuntoli loves Karim #Adeyemi since the Lockdown. He already wanted to sign him at #Napoli during the summer 2020, when Adeyemi played for Salzburg. Positive talks with the father-agent Abbey: #Juventus consider him the main target as winger. #BVB ask 45M [Nicoló Schira]

He's had a hard on for him for 4 years and hasn't let go.

Is he signing him with Juve and Motta's best interests in mind or is he signing him because of his own personal preference?

Sounds like he would of wanted to sign him for whatever club he worked for.

I presume that Giuntoli has been following him for some time, presented Motta with the idea and Motta approved the player…

Well not to be hating on Chiesa, but if Adeyemi comes and stay healthy more than 20 games he would already do more than Chiesa currently :p
Chiesa played more minutes (2500 mins) and matches (37) than Adeyemi (1700 mins, 34 matches) last season despite Dortmund played UCL until final.

Yes, Chiesa had ACL knee injury before but it seems he can recover and no major injury he got during last season. I dont see any upgrades apart whether it's true or not that Adeyemi will suit with Motta tactics better. But it also must be considered that Adeyemi will play in a new league, learn new languange, etc compared to Chiesa who already performed well in Serie A.

Yes, you are probably correct but, Giuntoli and most important Motta must hace thought on that and STILL dont want Chiesa and prefers to bring Adeyemi so...

There is also the fact that Chiesa will walk free next season.
Aaaaaand that he wants to earn more money...

At the end of the day, like I been saying, we can keep arguing if Chiesa is better or not than Adeyemi, but the opinion that really matter here is Motta's and after his last declarations, its more than obvious that he dont want Chiesa and if we are after Adeyami probably it means that Motta thinks he can work in his system.

Plain and simple... like it or not..

adeyemi was a fringe player for dortmund, both regarding playtime and actual output. soulé was the frosinone player who very clearly outshone the rest of his team. it's not the best argument. it would mean you'd take joselu over vlahovic or ryerson over dani olmo
I'm sure youre probably right, but it sounds like it wouldn't be hard to outshine the rest of the team considering how bad it was. I'm not sure how good an argument that is either.

Also besides Vlahovic I legit don't know those other names. Is this what it's like to be old?
