Saadi Kadhafi the son of the Libyan leader, has joined the board of top Italian side Juventus, the club announced on Monday.
He takes his place on the board as representative for the Libyan investment company Lafico (Libyan Arab Foreign Investment Company) which holds 7.30 percent of the share capital in the Turin club.
This announcement was made after a general assembly of Juventus shareholders.
The side has been quoted on the Milan stock exchange since December 2001 with the majority shareholder being IFI a holding company of the Agnelli family which also runs the Fiat car company.
Juventus said that they made profits of 6.1 million euro for the 2001/2002 financial year, 6.2 percent up on the previous year.
Saadi Kadhafi is also vice-president of the Libyan football federation.
