It sounds like they're attributing a lot of injuries to the crappy quality of the pitch, and with worse weather coming the debate is whether to wholesale lay down new turf, etc.
But most of our injuries happened during trainings.

I think we will play in the communale this season and perhaps some big games in the delle alpi. I think work in the delle alpi won`t start now.
Forget about one-off games at the Delle Alpi because its logistically impossible.

TV companies like SkyItalia have permanently installed equipment and fibre-optic links at the stadiums, and all the equipment which was previously at the Delle Alpi was transfered to the Comunale. It wouldn`t be an easy task to transfer these there and back for just one game...

Apart from that, there is one MAJOR issue.... the playing surface. At the moment there is no playing surface at the Delle Alpi (its not financially worth it to keep it growing just for the fun of it) so to grow one for any particular game is not sustainable both financially and physically

I just hope that we do not just renovate the delle alpi for 15 millions. I hope that we realise the 100 million project and make the delle alpi a football stadium without running track. Juventus played long enoug in the delle alpi which the fans never liked. the fans deserve a great stadium. I would also be satisfied with 40.000 places. Our attendance is not so high and the atmosphere is much better in smaller stadiums.
I really hope we build a stadium everybody is happy with for 30 or 40 years. The delle alpi looks very old after just 16 years and is not a good place to watch football. I hope that we get some support from the city and the state if Italy hosts the euro 2012. I think the euro 2012 would be very important for juventus to get a new stadium.

Doesn't Torino council has the right on Delle Alpi stadium?

What is point of rennovating the stadium that doesnt belong to you?

Solving the problem regarding the stadium right should come first and foremost before renovating the stadium into new one.

As a side note, I think it was a wise move by the board to temporarily procrastinating the decision on stadium renovation. If Italia win a bid to host Euro, I can see a lot of government money being up for grabs to improve the quality of stadia in Italia.

I think we rented the delle alpi for 99 years one or two years ago.

Yes we are the Owners/Rentals of Delle Alpi for 99 years. We have the right to do whatever we want with the stadium.
I see that is not too bad then. I can so smell Giraudo's print written all over that deal. No large sums of cash for immediate purposes, and long term stability.

Get rid of the running track is vital. It will be great if Italian government can fund us to do that.

there are no plans about a new stadium, right ?
I think they have been put on hold until the Euro bid is sorted out soon. Obviously, we are going to rennovate the stadium no doubt, I guess we just want some free lunch from the Italian government. Not too bad, considering that they f*cked us up in the first place.
