Roughly speaking:

Mafia game

In principle, the game is about, nobody will know who is who, (only the Gangsters will know who each other are) although the point of the game is to speculate and try to find out who is who. We then begin with the first Night phase, the Gangsters will get together and decide who they want to whack, they then PM me their target, and we will change to Day phase and the Civilians will discover someone has been whacked. The town then votes on who they think should be lynched in retribution (including the Gangsters pretending to be Civilians).
At the start of the second Night phase, the Gangsters will target someone else and so on. At this point the Detective will also begin his role by pming me who they want to investigate, at which point by morning they will know what role a certain person has (nobody knows for sure who is the Detective, so the Gangsters could just as easily lie about it). The Bodyguard will also PM me in the second Night phase 1 person who they will protect from being whacked (even themselves if they want to). Of course the Bodyguard can still be killed by lynching or even if he is whacked and doesn't protect himself. We then go into Daytime again and repeat into Night until the game is over.

After repeating this over a few days, the outcome of the game will either be:

The game ends either when the last Gangster is killed (Civilian victory) or the Gangsters outnumber or equal the Civilians during the day (Gangster victory). The Civilians have no way of voting off Gangsters at this point, but the Gangsters can still kill each night.

There can be a deadline for voting on lynching (which is public) during the daytime, and a deadline for the gangsters to decide who to whack during night.
When a person is dead, they can no longer talk in the thread or offer any kind of speculation. This game is basically like survivor on an internet forum.

    Either you should make a new thread Ze for the actual upcoming game, or edit the first post to add the rules and explanations of the game, plus the new roles etc. Right now bit scattered throughout the thread, hehe.

    These new positions seem quite interesting, next game should be a good one.

    Also just wondering, just those who would not have voted before 8 can be abducted?

    No, anyone can be abudcted, and if you voted before you got abducted, your vote wont count.


    And the deadline and time for getting abducted can be changed, that bit I took was an example of what someone else tweaked it as. But generally speaking, someone is abducted for 1 day, cant post, vote, and can be lynched, but not whacked. And the same person cant be abducted twice in a row.

    Lets give it till at least 12 pm tomorrow (CET). Hopefully we will collect enough good players.
    If we do then we can start right away.

    I'm also in a hurry this thing to start asap, so i can at least catch the first 2 days. :D

    7 new players compared to last game. A small change up. But rather a small game then a big one, if the big one means more inactive players (though cant have those new roles without being a bit big group).
