Long passes do not work this season. You're right that tonight they didn't work either. Bonucci used to deliver those with great precision. Bentancur too was doing that good, but this year he sucks when it comes to long balls. Arthur's not even trying them and Rabiot was never any good in it, nor was Giorgio.

Yeah Bonucci typically produces some good ones, but its like 50/50 always. I feel it is way too easy we give the ball away. We could pass it around fast and precisely and create some proper chances instead of blowing our load prematurely from defence lol.

The biggest issue with this Juve for me, leaving aside the shitty midfield, is that this team can't really press effectively for more than 5-10 minutes. Not only our press is disjointed and disorganized, but it is also very sporadic. We can't keep up with teams like Bayern and Liverpool, which press the shit out of you for 90 minutes.
We have had this problem for years and there is no end in sight for our struggles. During Allegri's first 2 years at least our great defense and midfield could suck up the pressure and start counterattacks but now we just lose the ball almost immediately after taking control of it.

pressing is an art that takes a while to get, even with Klopp it took us more than a season to get it right
