That was a legendary first half compared to many of our games.

Unfortunately we've been a 45 minute team since Allegri's last season. Besides, with the season how it is there is no chance of seeing many 90 minute performances, it's not going to happen playing every few days.
Not unless we do less intensive training and sarri uses more subs/rotation in some games. That can be avoided for now but eventually he will have no choice.

Well, I guess our definitions differ. The fact that he didn't fuck shit up doesn't necessarily entail that he was solid. 0 attacking impetus and contribution to the attacking third. I just think he is a lazy player with ZERO sense of urgency. He doesn't belong here.
Not true bro. He started some nice attack, pull off a Zidanesque dribble. His header was saved by Perin.

That's just bullshit, it was an average half with good spells, we desperately need a striker
I agree. It wasn't garbage, but our play is so anemic and predictable. It's labored and hard to watch tbh. We do need a striker, but we need so much more than that.

I actually think we can try and deploy a 4-3-1-2 or 4-2-3-1 formation with the right players.

imo dybala could be more useful than a cf vs teams parking the bus. we don't play with proper wingers, our crosses are shit, we can't play our players in the box, so shooting from long range is one of our best bets.

there you go, dybala :tuttosport:
