still, when do you see any juve player winning 7/9 duels and missing only two passes during one single half? he's having a solid match.

also, our tactics show that we don't actually need a functioning midfield. szczesny had more passes than pjanic, and rabiot is not too far ahead of these two. it's basically the two cb's, cuads, dybala and bentancur who are moving the ball, and our defense is a lot more compact than vs napoli. decent half of energy saving football against a very physical team.

It's kind of what I was mentioning in the Sarri thread how we were spending too much time and focus on midfield. If your midfield gets in danger then the ball has to move to other areas and players, that's modern football. Eventually the midfield will get the ball back in good areas.

TBH we look a little bit fitter in this game, but there is still a general lack of sharpness, more random bad passes than you'd usually expect. Szczesny you can tell hasn't been in a match situation for some time, he is a clear example of the difficulties.

Cuads has been fantastic. He does have spells like this, then a couple of games later he makes you want to headbutt something.
