Basically Cancelo fucked us in the ass with a ridiculously dumb play, at a time when we were under very little pressure (considering how dangerous Atalanta are typically), and then we folded with a second lapse in concentration.

You just can't give a team like that a goal, when they are at home with what is basically a baying mob screaming them on. We had taken the sting out of their good early start and then gave them a free goal.

Pretty bad night all round at the moment, we can't afford for Chiellini to have any meaningful injury.

Obviously this is the end of the world again, just as it was at HT against Lazio.

The biggest worry is Chiellini's injury, if he is out against Atletico we are fucked big time

Atalanta are a better team than the league table suggests. Gasperini is really doing amazing job there. They're brilliant going forward and their press works great. It's no coincidence that they have the best attack in Serie A at the moment. You won't have much fun against them if you keep losing possession in dangerous areas constantly.

we just didnt bother replacing a top class CB when he left. we thought wed be fine with 2 top CBs + Rugani, but you have to plan for injuries in advance, which is why you need top players on the bench if you want to compete on 3 fronts. basic stuff
