I reckon we overachieved in 2017 to be honest. Bayern were wronged by Real and Barcelona had a terrible season. Our defence was our best position and it was destroyed by Beppe, and our midfield had always been tender.

We were in a position a few years back where our midfield was being touted as the best behind possibly Barcelonas and our defence was probably the best. Instead of tweaking our attack and our wing backs which were the weak spots we play fucking musical chairs with our team and create weak spots in our strongest areas and let players go without having adequate replacements.

We fucked ourselves up and i'm glad it's finally punishing us. Because now we'll see if we're interested in improving our team or this 'golden period' including two more depressing embarrassing CL finals was us overachieving.
