Poor Douglas Costa. He really picked a coach for his style of play.
He would have been a world beater in a team playing a modern style.

I feel like Pocehttino and Tottenham have found a playing style and dna that makes for a guaranteed goal scoring opportunity. It feels like we start over every time. We don't have a clear recipe. And Costa is the only player who can shine. Look at the right flank. Barzagli does NOTHING forward but passing Costa who both turn and dribble

We did not concede because of the defense, but because of our midfield. Our midfield conceded the control of the game, they got chance after chance and even in the scoring chance, we were attacked multiple times, by multiple players, completely overrun by their fullbacks and CMs. It wasn't an individual mistake by Buffon or Chiellini

I would try with Marchisio instead of Khedira
Put in DS for Barzagli and upfront AS
To have something resembling a 343, our midfield needs to be strengthened

I only watched the last 10 minutes of first half but so disappointed at Gigi. He's been responsible for 2 out of 3 goals we conceded over 2 legs so far.

The midfield is just terrible
Khedira has been terrible for about 4 months and is anonymous
Matuidi is a runner who isn't going to help much in the build up
So essentially if Pjanic doesn't do everything in terms build up we are $#@!ed
Yeah I can’t wait for the summer so we can address our midfield. The issue is we also need to address RB & LB too!!

Apparently, we have an attacking plan, according to the Tuz experts. Just because you score a shitload of goals doesn't mean you actually have a plan in place. Whenever we play against a decent opponent, we look lost and clueless. We were shit against Lazio too, but they didn't punish us.

Sure, there was a penalty on Douglas Costa, but let's not cling to excuses and clutch at straws here. We failed to take the initiative, and look a team devoid of any ideas out there. I can't wait to hear the excuses after the game, if and once we fail to go through. Allegri and Marotta especially are good at spewing BS in situations like these.

But I thought Khedira haters were a bunch of drama queens? It was obvious from the start that he wasn't good enough.

Fact is our midfield was exposed at Real, but we were kept safe because of our defence and strikers. Nowe Beppe destroyed our defence too. After giving away our 2-0 2 weeks ago, it became inevitable.

Honestly, Tottenham are the better side. They key difference for me is when they get the ball from deep they create chances almost every time. Whereas our best chance basically came from that penalty incident. They deserve to go through unless by some miracle Juventus start playing well which would seem unlikely.
