Just about any neutral would call this a tight contest. But it seems like our celebrating doomsayers won't be happy unless they can predict 7-1 annihilations throughout the match.

Is that just some form of setting your own expectations low to protect from disappointment and letting us the rest of us know about it? Because please ... you're making us look like pussies.

Great performance so far.Team looks calm and collected, everybody is playing well.

But they sat too deep after the goal, and it took little time to Madrid to score.

We created a lot of chances, Sturaro did great.

But playing Pirlo is absolutely pointless. This is the 347938493894839483948384384 evidence of this. He's not suited for Europe. Too slow.

We need aggressiveness and quickness. Pirlo out, Pereyra in, Marchisio as a DM.

PLEASE ALLEGRI WAKE THE FUCK UP AND DO THIS ASAP.

We started much better than they did and you saw our confidence take a hit when Ronaldo scored and took some time to get back. This result can easily go either way and we need to get some of these shots on target that we are taking from outside the box. Time to start testing Casilias.
Yep. We were clearly the better team for 25 minutes. Then Real Madrid had a good 10 minute or so stretch after the goal, and the last 5 10 minutes has been pretty even.

It's pretty clear that we're on their level.

We need to sub Pirlo and open up the game. Madrid does not want to run. People think they like going up and down but they don't. They like to go up, not down.

When you walk the ball into their half, that lets their lazy players walk back. Ronaldo, Kroos, Isco, James don't want to run back on defence. They will gladly walk back into their half, set up and then try to counter.
Where the F is Pereyra?
