This "needs rest" business is rubbish imo. If a professional athlete can't play 2 matches having 4 days of rest in between them, he should go back to amateur level cause that's the level of intensity he can handle.

Every year it's the same damn discussion and every year we see other European clubs play their best 11 week in, week out.

I think PDC would struggle to start here in Monza in a 3rd division team
In all honestly, I believe he would indeed struggle to be a starter in a 3rd division team.

The guy was just blessed. It's unbelievable. They renewed his contract till 2017, it's a joke. He makes 1.3M a year or something.

Some people are so damn lucky.

Yep. It's nice if we can, but shouldn't be necessary at all, especially considering Serie A plays at a much slower pace than other leagues.

Especially when it comes to Tevez. We have seen for 2 years now that he can play as many games as you ask him too. There is only one player who could use rest and it's Marchisio. But I don't see him running as much as usual today. Lichtsteiner will probably get subbed off soon.

    It's March.

So it's not 2 matches with 4 days in between as season began 6-7 months ago.

It's because we're in a big lead and we don't need these points as we need to go through in the CL. We can afford resting players, unlike other teams, and there's no reason not to take that advantage.
