Dude, gone are the days where a Brazilian skinny boy can dribble pass 10 players and score a goal. In modern times, the ball is faster. Players are fitter. Games are faster and more physical. I agree that flair is useful. But it needs to be combined with great fitness in order to have any desired effect.
Look at bale zlatan CR. Even messi has strong core muscle.
