The difference between him and most strikers is he didn't get to develop with lots of game time in a mid table side. He was stuck down on the depth chart on a Madrid with Higauin and Benzema amongst others. Once Higauin left last year he had 8 goals in 21 matches, and his goal per minute ratio was superb.

You're far too pessimistic about him.

Not pessimistic, just realistic. I don't jizz in my pants for just anything. If he was really as amazing as people seem to make him be, Madrid would've never sold him. And he certainly would've got more playing time there. I'm not against him, i'm just not convinced.

I also don't trust this "new" Spanish generation will be something to write home about. So yes, you're goddamn right I'm suspicious about him.
