I don't think he's necessarily the answer to our problems on the forward line, but I do like his interplay with Tevez and our squad's pace and ability to counter when he is on the pitch. He is also quite a decent passer. The things he needs to improve upon are his finishing and his instinct on when to go for goal in the box. But he is young enough that I'd like to see him get a run of games starting so as to see how he develops.

Guys like Cavani weren't all that impressive at his age.
Cavani is just one example. From experience watching Football, prolific strikers usually show from a very young age. Morata is turning 23 this year, he's getting to that time when he has to break that average barrier and show why he's special. I didn't trust he had the talent to do it then and i still don't.

He's got a lot to prove. But for now, he's our better choice, sure.

He doesn't fit Allegri's system. That much was clear months ago when the big man gave Tevez more freedom. It isolated him. Add that to the lack of confidence and of services. Anyone who watched Llorente in Bilbao knows he had the eye for the goal, a number 9's instinct. And they played fast counter attacking Football Bielsa's style. You're a better poster than that, come on.

I ,of course, don't expect much from sgjuveboy who's by far the worst poster in this forum.
Llorente is a good player, but IMO the difference to Morata is brutal right now. We need more agility, agressiveness, movement off the ball. He provides all that.
