You want to make Llorente work? Let him be an old school number 9 who just stays forward. He's got horrible ball control and passing and no speed, there's no point in playing him as a target man.

He needs services, not 1-2's. We needed 2 wingers who would constantly service him.
Amen.
With proper guys around him, taking opposition off his azz, he would suceed with good service. Im sure of it.
We want him to create plays and be a supportive partner to tevez, but he doesnt have the skills. It will not happen

Right, which is why our performance is embarrassing.
If you haven't noticed, I have been saying we are rather poor today, but we're still winning and controlling the match easily. I wouldn't call this performance embarrassing, I'd call it poor. As long as we win easily, and without constantly looking like we're about to concede and draw, I don't care if the performance is poor and we win 1-0 or 2-0

If we had the money id replace 4-5 of these players. Expecially Pirlo just don't have it anymore. And what good is Llorente as a targetman when his lay offs never lead to anything? He's utterly and completely useless!
+1 You have 4-5 useless players, that are burden to those who are actual quality.

However, his positioning in the box this year, when crosses have arrived, has been atrocious. He's very out of form, regardless of how we would play him.

He is but it's not like he's missing a million chances, he gets very little service. Give him real chances and eventually he'll score. Like anything in life, the more you do it the sharper you become.
