The biggest problem i see with the 3-5-2 is Asamoah is a CM being told to be played as a LWB who cant create any chances at all. Same goes for Licht, he is a LB cant expect him to be dangerous when he goes as he just doesn't have it. Yes the 3-5-2 is not a bad formation when utilised right but we dont do that.

Agreed. It's quite amusing hearing our coaches constantly saying we don;t have the right players for a 4 man backline formation, but we also lack the right players to play a good 3-5-2. We've really got ourselves stuck with a mixture of players that don't really work well in any formation. We haven't worked towards making a squad that's ideal for any single formation yet.

The joy of playing with 3 CB's, i lost count how many times i seen him last season trying to attack. I just couldn't understand why the coaching staff let him do this. Why not play a back 4 and throw in extra midfielder to stop that?
