He's one of best right backs in the world when it comes to the defensive aspects of the game.

On the offense it's a completely different story of course.
He can't be considered one of the best full backs in the world if he can't cross a ball properly. Times have changed. You need to offer something offensively if you're the only player providing width to the team on that right side.

Morata has been poor today. He looked like he was finally waking up around the 30th minute or so, with a couple decent dribbles and crosses into the box, but aside from that, he's drifting out to the touchline too often, and standing still at the top of the box at other times. He needs to get involved with Tevez, they were developing a pretty good understanding in the few weeks prior to the Dortmund, and then during that match. Today, it looks like they aren't even aware the other exists, and that's on Morata, not Tevez.

Even though he didn't start in all of them, this is the 4th match in a row he's been meh. Tevez hasn't been anything spectacular either.

It's funny, because he has moments where he times his runs perfectly, provides great assists, and looks very dynamic offensively. His crosses in the air are always poor, but his runs last year at times, created quite a few tap-ins, and good chances for others. He just can never replicate that form match to match.

I didn't say he was among the best right backs in general though, just one of the best right backs when it comes to defending. As a whole, when his offensive...abilities count as well, I wouldn't put him up with the best due to the reasons you mentioned.

He's a very limited player in that he can't do shit in the oppositions half, but at the part he is limited to, aka defending, he always does a great job.

piotrr is Polish and he understands a lot. But I know that Serbian is more similar to Ukrainian than to Russian
Weird. How about the rest of the country, don't they speak russian? I always thought balkans know russian (last part of europe I haven't been so a bit surprising if it's so) :)
We have a good background for it if we decide to speak it. However language is really different and majority of things I can't understand. Actually, I can just recognize some words/parts. It's knowing cyrillic that would help us digest it faster, plus some grammar similarity, but it would still require quite a lot to master imo. And majority of people don't know Russian, as far as I know that goes for all other countries too (Croatia, Bosnia etc.,-).

Older generations, like my parents, used to study it in their schools. Back then English hold no place. But still, I think only 5% of those people understand it nowadays.

I think it's the 3rd? Roma, Fiorentina, Sassuolo. Atalanta was before Dortmund?

Regardless, he's definitely disappeared since Dortmund. He's not even getting in positions to get the ball around the box. Very disappointing to see.

Playing vidal and lict to the right is poison to this team. Vidal is happy just playing it easy to licht, bc no confidence. And licht keeps smashing the ball nowhere good
