Cagey match. Fiorentina are doing a good job neutralizing our mid. Asamoah can hardly cross the centre & Pirlo has been well marked. We need to up the tempo abit & get some crosses in.

We play an extremely rigid formation with pre-determined movements and passing patterns. Over the course of 2 legs, we get found out extremely quickly, especially by a decent coach like Montella.

Last year we had Giaccherini who was brainless but because of that, he was extremely unpredictable and could change the game with his runs. This year we don't even have that on the bench.

Conte has to do something to break Fiorentina's gameplan which has been perfect against us since day 1 of this year.

The opening 15 min was all fiorentina and we were lucky not to conceed. We took more control towards the end, but tevez and pogba have not been accurate enough
