There's absolutely nothing funny with that. Pogba has always impressed when given a chance.
Tactically, we are a bit worse now pogba came on.

Marchisio isnt as visible allways, but no one needs to cover.

When lazio recuperates, we have had a player backing up pogba 5 times so far.
Thats something pogba MUST learn, and isnt doing.

If lazio had a competent playmaker, that sees this and switches play efficiently, we would be exposed like hell.

THAT is one of the big reasons why he isnt ready yet. But he will learn, and become better then any of our mids

Both our wing backs need to get more involved.
No they dont, they are neutralising lazio's play, and backing up pogba

Our fullbacks are doing a solid work. So far so good back there. Our attack still lacks chemistry, so does the connection from the mid to our attack in all offensive plays. We're not attacking with enough men, Vuci/Tevez often find themselves against 4 defenders. Nothing unexpected so far.

Also Tevez looked very tired by the end of the half.

Not only that but a 3-5-2 becomes more inept with a defensive player on the wing. Let alone not being a winger.
It's the only thing I have against our 3-5-2. We're average offensively from the wings, which kinda kills it for the 3-5-2.

I wouldn't go that far. Both our strikers seemed a little isolated. Still tweaking things obviously. Any word on Marchisio?
He has been awful this half, come on. He couldn't take on a player. I think he'll play better with Llorente.

Don't think it's boring at all.

I like Tévez a lot so far. His workrate is insane, Vucinic is pretty awful so far but he'll improve or else sub him.
Its boring for those who cannot admire the tactical play

No. If you want to call him by what he plays for us, then call him a defensive LB. He does noting but defending and screw up things in attack.
he's a defensive winger. He'll go from his own backline to the opposing one, and his prime target is locking down the wing. Not creating chances
Thats called : defensive winger

No, we shall not, because he's great CB. Asamoah is obviously not that great as a LWB.
he is great at the defensive part of his task. And he'll improve on the rest

He's everywhere.
Yes, because lazio arent making the play. Its easy to play from there

our wings are better

I have no idea where you come up with this stuff for one simply reason - We have never seen Pogba gets outshined in middle whenever he played. You're just talking out of your ass actually, finding some blind reason just to justify his benching.

We're eager, but we were also rather unorganized, especially at the start resulting in some big gaps between our lines as well, and making a lot of errors. We're doing alright since Lazio haven't really been dangerous, but it really looks like our first 'real' game, like they're just getting back into the swing of things.

I don't think that Lazio can keep the same tempo and aggressive play. We did really fine so far, considering how pumped up our opponents were in this half.

They have really fast players on the wings, especially on their right side with Cavanda and Candreva. Luckily our wings are also fast and don't let Lazio put more crosses into the box. Defensively we were really good. In attack the link Tevez-Mirko is yet to start functioning, but I also feel that they don't get enough support from the midfield. Vidal and Pogba don't make enough runs into opponents box. Our transformation from defense to attack should go more smoothly.

    :agree:

Although I think that Pogba has definitely improved on this
