Barzagli only came for the ceremony it seems. Two times he lost Ibarbo in the opening fifteen minutes.

Conte taking him off really sent a signal he's taking this game seriously. The team should pick themselves up and win this game.
And that's why it's annoying that the players are treating the game like a summer friendly game. If they want to break Capello's Juve record they ain't going about it the right way so far.

This is a good game to reinforce the need of new talented players. We have too much lame for a club like Juventus.

Matri, Giovinco, Giaccherini, are nowhere near of being good enough to play for Juventus. They clearly belong to smaller clubs, like Parma, Bologna, Napoli.

I wish Isla had a better opportunity to prove himself. But he's been definitely decent.

Oh, and Marchisio is just a shadow of last season's player. What happened to this guy?

I think you guys are too harsh on Marrone. He does need to make himself more available, which he's just not concentrated enough to do at the moment, but he's hardly made any mistakes, kept the game going whenever he got the ball. Also players dont seem to seek him as they do Pirlo, which is normal.

You can't quite expect him to make us forget Pirlo and the rest are quite bad as well. There is no way he should stand out when there's players like Matri or Giovinco on the pitch.
This!!!

He doesn't have an authority to get every ball when we are attacking, Marrone gets easily skipped in our build up play, unlike Pirlo.

He actually seemed decent to me throughout the first half.

Intercepted quite a few passes and was very lively in the attacking third, always joining the attack.

However, that situation with Ibarbo demonstrated what I hate so much about his play. He should really toughen up and become more agressive and mean. He should never leave a player break forward at the defence in such a lame way. Vidal should teach him a thing or two in this aspect of his play.
