I think people are being a bit harsh on Marrone. He was reasonably good whenever he deputised for Pirlo (or elsewhere in midfield) last season. He's been mostly used as a CB and hasn't played as regista nearly at all... It is like when Caceres came in to deputise for Chiello, it takes a little while to adapt!
