Somehow we have ended the half in the lead. Thankfully our attack was efficient. We need to hold the ball, don't play the long ball into nothing. That suits them. When there is an opening go for it, but it shouldn't be the first option. When we attack they look scared, we need to do more of it. The stats are going to look horrid at HT but we have the lead. Midfield needs to step up. I would argue for someone like Gio to come on at some point to make runs behind. Anelka might be interesting as well. Peluso is my man of the half.

Celtic are the better team on this showing, goal or not, we play like this for 90 mins.

Dude, to be honest the 'whole sit back and get raped' thing is standard Juve tactics when we are playing physically thugish opposition (which is perfectly fine as a tactic) The idea/hope is that you will be fucked after 60mins and we will dominate. Alternatively we can bring of Pogba (better than Wayamamama) and Anelka and do what we are doing now but with more presence in midfield and up front.


Celtic have done exactly what I expected, go for the jugular, essentially the only tactic if you are inferior on paper.
